EDWARD
NASTASE

Edward is a hardware engineer and the CTO of LurraPay, where he leads the team behind its crypto hardware wallet. He is also building Ara, secure communications hardware for people who want to keep their conversations private. Away from hardware, he runs Erid Game Studios, an independent studio making a real-time strategy game.

He came to hardware by way of logistics, after nearly a decade moving high-value goods around the world and teaching himself electronics in his spare time. It was better preparation than it sounds. Plenty of well-designed hardware never ships because the supply chain behind it falls apart, and supply chains are something he knows well.

He thinks your money and your conversations should stay under your control, and he builds hardware that makes that practical.
